About Birth and Bambino

Trudi Webber

Childbirth Professional

Trudi has been a childbirth educator for almost 20 years, starting her Diploma training with NCT in 2002.  She continued to add to her qualifications by training to be a Teacher/Assessor with NCT and completed a Research Module and Yoga for Pregnancy qualification, as well as completing doula training with Nurturing Birth. More recently she added Natal hypnotherapy to her diverse skillset.  She is passionate about ensuring pregnant women and their partners have the best possible start to their transition to parenthood.

Trudi's journey into birth and beyond began when she had her first child of 4, and ever since has been passionate about empowering women and their partners to pursue the best birth they can, and feel supported throughout. When parents feel this quality of support it gives them confidence to be their best selves, begin their parenthood journey with a positive mindset and continue to take care of themselves and their families.

Trudi has also trained to be a Mental Health First Aider with MHFA England and this training enhances her understanding of emotional issues with women and their partners on their journey.

My Philosophy

My philosophy is that regardless of how your baby is birthed, that parents can be empowered to take control and have confidence as they embark on their birth journey. Knowledge is power, and needs to be evidence or best practice-based.

Preparation for birth and beyond through a healthy lifestyle is crucial. Birth and Bambino birth preparation, yoga for pregnancy and hypno-birthing offer women and their partners opportunities to explore what will enable them to have the most positive experience.

These classes allow women and their partners to engage  in a mindset that allows them to be relaxed, open and calm. My classes enable women and their partners to feel stronger, more courageous and resilient and more able to accept the lives we live. I am also a trained Doula with Nurturing Birth and can support women and their partners in the early postnatal period when things feel challenging. This can be done over Zoom during the latest restrictions, and face to face once these lift.
